GUANACASTE
La Amistad Bridge - Tempisque River
The Taiwan Friendship Bridge is a vehicular and pedestrian crossing bridge that spans the estuary at the mouth of the Tempisque River, between the cantons of Cañas and Nicoya, in the province of Guanacaste, northern Costa Rica.
Palo Verde National Park is located nearby.
Arenal Lake
Lake Arenal is located at the base of the colossal volcano that responds to the same name. By its surface it is the largest lake in the country. It is approximately 30 km long and almost 5 km at its widest point, with an area of ​​85 square kilometers.
The area surrounding the lake is as inspiring as the water itself, surrounded by incredible landscapes, rocky slopes and dense mountains.Â
Lake Arenal is the key point on which an ambitious hydroelectric power generation project in Costa Rica is based and currently produces energy for a large part of the country. In addition, this lake is considered of high tourist value in the region and is currently used for the enjoyment of water sports.
Santa Elena Island - Arenal Lake

Tinajas Island - Arenal Lake
The Isla de las Tinajas is a small island located in Lake Arenal, Costa Rica. Its name comes from the discovery of various indigenous artifacts, such as tinajas (large clay vessels), which have been found on the island. These artifacts have been preserved for centuries due to the lake’s erosion and environmental conditions, making them valuable archaeological pieces of Costa Rican culture.
The island is part of the scenic landscape of Lake Arenal and is visible from several points along the Arenal Peninsula. Although it is not a widely known tourist destination, its natural surroundings and archaeological history make it an interesting spot for those looking to explore beyond traditional tourist sites.
ALAJUELA
Cote Lake

Said lake or lagoon became famous in 1971, when by chance, on September 4 of that year, while the Aero Commander F680 twin-engine plane was hired to carry out a photographic reconnaissance, the team took a shot, of an apparent UFO (UFO) being considered one of the best to date.
Arenal Volcano
The Arenal volcano is located in the district of La Fortuna, canton of San Carlos, in the province of Alajuela (Costa Rica). It has a height of 1670 m above sea level. n. m.
The volcano is located within the Arenal Volcano National Park. It began its last period of activity in 1968, on July 29 at 7:30 and has been inactive since 2010.
It is one of the most well-known nationally and internationally known volcanoes in Costa Rica and one of the most visited.
Catarata RÃo Toro
The Toro River is a river in Costa Rica, belonging to the northern sub-slope of the Caribbean Sea. It is one of the most important tributaries of the Sarapiquà River.
It is born in the Palmira hills of the Central Volcanic mountain range, northwest of the Poás volcano, between the Platanar and Porvenir volcanoes, province of Alajuela. Its course crosses the cantons of SarchÃ, Grecia, San Carlos and SarapiquÃ.
This river is known in the country for forming waterfalls of high altitude and beauty, whose waters are used by the Costa Rican Electricity Institute in three hydroelectric energy generation projects, known as Toro I, II and III.
PUNTARENAS
Pavones Beach
This incredible beach is located in the Golfito canton of Puntarenas, in the south of the country.
In addition to its abundant vegetation, it is recognized for something very special, for being the meeting point for many lovers of surfing and good waves.
This beach stands out for its gray sand, strong waves and its flora. But here, in addition to enjoying world-class waves, you can also do activities such as sport fishing, canopy, horseback riding, surfing classes, and some other activities.

Pavones is gray sand, it has stones on the shore but they increase even more at the bottom. The vegetation is abundant, enough to rest under a tree.
